Grayson had his 6 month check-up with Dr. Catherine today, and it was great! David picked him up from daycare, and I met them both at the office. Grayson was smiling and laughing when we arrived, and he even gave Dr. Catherine a Valentine sucker! :)
Dr. Catherine once again called Grayson a rockstar, to which he smiled and showed off a little more. He weighed 19lbs 9oz (75th to 90th percentile) and measured 28.25 (95th percentile) inches long. He sat up on command and did an AWESOME baby push-up! He even waved goodbye as she walked out of the room! What a little performer! Unfortunately, Grayson had to get 4 shots today. He definitely didn't like them, but he was asleep about 5 minutes after the nurse gave them to him.
Tonight, Grayson drank water from a big-boy cup (after he was determined to drink my coke at dinner), jumped on my lap, and snuggled with me before he went to bed. He was extra tired today (due to taking only 2 short naps), so he went to bed without any fuss. Before bed, though, he gave Daddy a very special Valentine's card which he signed himself:
