Well, the honeymoon is over, as they say--I am guilty of having the dreariness of winter bring me down. The past week or so has been pretty draining on me, and there just seems to be so much to do that it is overwhelming. We still haven't written our thank you notes, which I am so embarrassed about. All of our presents are piled up in the bedroom and the spare room upstairs, and all I want to do when I get home from work is be lazy on the couch in front of the TV.
I really need to work on this housewife thing.

Marriage is fun!!
In Bledsoe news, it's another busy weekend in our house. On Saturday, David is going to Oxford with the guys to watch the UT/Ole Miss game. Originally, we had talked about making it a couples' trip, but we decided that it would be easier if I stayed home--lots to do! And, as it turns out, it's a good thing I'm staying home. The family that introduced David and I have spent the week in Disney World and are returning home on Saturday. I am picking up their puppies from the vet Saturday morning, and picking the family up from the airport Saturday night! In between that time, I am spending time with two of my closest friends to celebrate a birthday that we missed because of all the wedding excitement. On Sunday, The ABA Place (the organization that I work for that teaches children with developmental disabilities) is having and Open House. I am very excited to meet new people and network for some new job opportunities. I love the job that I have, but I am always looking to work more closely with kids with disabilities. And, in the little spare time that we have this weekend, David and I are going to work on Thank You notes from all of our wedding gifts. That's quite an undertaking in itself...but, it's been almost a month, which means our deadline is quickly approaching! :)

Well, it's official!!!!!!!
Here are a few pictures from the Big Day:
Dad walks me down the aisle
Listening to Rev.
Everyone is laughing because David blew a kiss to me when Rev. said, "You may kiss the bride." :)
Our first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Bledsoe.
Listening to Ashley's toast, which was so cute!!!
Look how beautiful the lodge turned out:

It was absolutely breathtaking.

We both agree that, although everything from that night is a blur, it definitely was the best day of our lives. We are so grateful to everyone that came and celebrated with us. We love you all!!!
After the wedding, we took a day to get everything organized, pack for the honeymoon, and hang out with some family. Of course, we ended up only getting about 2 hours of sleep both nights, so when we finally boarded the plane at 6:00am on Monday morning, we were EXHAUSTED!!!
We landed in St. Lucia around 2:00pm on Monday afternoon, and, after a 2 hour taxi ride, we found ourselves in paradise: Sandals Grande St. Lucian Resort. David and I had a blast for 6 days and 6 nights! We couldn't believe how beautiful everything there is:
We are back home and now settling into our new roles as husband and wife. Of course, we still have some wedding stuff to finish up: thank you notes, putting away all our presents, organizing our house, and waiting for the pictures and videos!!!
I promise to update this soon with the happenings of our lives--once things calm down and we can actually take a deep breath!
We love you!
