Go Vols!!

This past weekend, Kim and Travis made the trip from Scott City to Memphis.  We LOVE having them in town, and we were so excited to share some Tennessee tailgating and football with them!

They arrived late Friday night, and we spent some time just hanging out and talking before David had to head into work.  I think we were all exhausted, so we headed to bed so we could get up Saturday morning all rested for a long day.

On Saturday, Travis got to meet Grayson for the first time, and, boy, does Grayson love these Burgers!  :)  Travis fed him his morning bottle, and Grayson just stared at him with his big blue eyes.  I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get myself ready and Grayson all packed to spend the night at Grandma and Pap Pap's, but I don't think Kim and Travis minded loving on our little man.  The four of us went to breakfast, while Daddy got some sleep.  When we got home, we dropped Grayson off with Grandma, the boys packed the truck, and Kim and I went to get some last minute supplies.  FINALLY, we headed out around noon.

On the way to the stadium, my good friend, Amber, texted me, and said that she and her husband, Clint, were also headed down our way to tailgate.  We invited them to spend the day with us, and it was a blast!  :)

Here are some pictures from the day:

This was kind of a mini-reunion!

Some of our favorite friends: Kim and Travis!  :)

And, one of the BEST parts of the day was getting to see my friend, Brian!!  I hadn't seen him since a few days before he left to hike the Appalachian Trail.  I wish that we could have hung out longer, but it was so great just to give him a big 'ole hug!!!

Grayson had a blast with Grandma and PapPap, but we sure were excited to see him on Sunday.  This was the first overnight trip he has had since he was born!  It was a little tough on Mommy, but I knew he was in excellent hands.  Grandma said that he slept really well, and just loved talking to PapPap!  :)

The rest of the weekend was just spent relaxing and recovering from our big football day.  It's hard to believe that the season is almost over!  We are already looking forward to next year, and taking Kim and Travis to Knoxville!  YAY!

As always, a few more pictures of Grayson from this week:

The room was kind of dark when I went to take this picture, and the flash scared Grayson.  :)  David and I absolutely cracked up when we saw our little guy's face.  Too funny!!!

We love you!  Thanks for checking in on us!

A SUPER DAY!!!

What a fun day it has been in the Bledsoe house!

I decided to take the day off today (one of the perks of my job), so that I could spend the day with David and Grayson.  I did have to go to one client's house here in Memphis to train the staff, but that only took about an hour.  The rest of the day was spent doing whatever I pleased!  :)

The day started off with Grayson sleeping until 8:00am!  It was fantastic!  He normally wakes up around 7:00am, which is so nice every day, but I will definitely admit that the extra hour of sleep was super nice.  I cuddled with him for a little while, and David headed out to pick us up some breakfast.

After I got back from my client's house, David and I went to vote, and then to run some errands.  I hated being out in the pouring down rain!  And, of course as we headed out, it started raining even harder!  I got my shopping done, and then we headed to look at houses.  David and I have been dreaming of buying a house out in the country since before we got married, and we love to go look at houses to get ideas of what we like and what we don't like.  We are so blessed that we already own a nice house, so there is no rush for us to move...and we LOVE to dream in the meantime!  Anyway, we have our eye on a particular area/neighborhood, and we drove out there to see what we could find.  I absolutely cannot wait until our dream becomes a reality--hopefully in the next few months!!

When we got home, I cuddled with Grayson a little more, caught up on a little more work, and am now just enjoying some quality time with my family.  I absolutely adore days like today--especially the extra time spent with my boys!

Here are some pictures from last few days:
Grayson has learned that we want him to smile when we pull out the camera, and now he REFUSES!  (He's stubborn like his daddy!  HA!)

As always, we love you!

Babies, babies everywhere!

Yesterday was Becky's baby shower for Baby Jarrett!  It was Halloween-themed, and it was super fun!

I can't believe that Ally is going to be a Big Sister!  She is growing up so fast...too fast for my liking.  She will be 8 years old in March.  Wasn't it just a few years ago that she was born? I can tell that she is going to be an amazing sister--she helps out with Grayson so much!  Jarrett is so lucky to have her!!

Jarrett got lots and lots of great presents!!

And, Grayson got lots of lovin' from all the ladies.  Let me tell you, he is quite the little flirt!!

Grayson loves his Aunt Becky!

There was lots of cake, and YUMMY food!!

After the shower, we headed out trick or treating with some friends.  Grayson didn't nap very well yesterday because of all the excitement, so he was a little tired by the time we arrived.  BUT, he was a trooper and stayed awake for almost the whole time!

And, finally, some pictures of Grayson from this week!

We love you all!

Zoo Boo 2010

What a fun day today has been!

My dear, dear friend from college, Kim, came for a visit this weekend, and it has been so nice to see her!  She got to meet Grayson for the first time, and he just adored her.  He smiled and laughed, cooed and talked to her for over 2 hours!  Then, he cuddled with her and fell asleep.  (I think Aunt Kim loved him, too.)

Then, we headed to the Memphis Zoo for Zoo Boo.  We were so excited to go because it was the first time we had been back to the zoo since we were married there last October!  We met our friends, Brad and Donna, and their daughter, Whitney (who was dressed like Minnie Mouse).  Zoo Boo is an event that is held every year--it's basically a trick or treat even at the zoo.  They have haunted hay rides, lots of candy, decorations everywhere...it's so much fun!

Grayson wore his skeleton pajamas under his monkey costume because it was forecasted to be 40 degrees tonight!  I know I am prejudiced, but isn't he the cutest skeleton you've ever seen?!

See, I told you it was a super fun day!
As always, we love you! Thanks for checking in on us!
