Finnley's Birthday Party

Because of Grayson's surgery, we had to push Finnley's party back a week.  So, we celebrated it this past Sunday.  The weather couldn't have been more awful--it was cooooollld and raining.  :(  But, it was definitely festive inside!!

 

 

 

 

 

We invited family and close friends over for munchies, cake, and presents.  At first, Finnley was pretty overwhelmed, but she soon warmed up and enjoyed her time as the center of attention. 

 

 

 

Mom made the smash cake.  At first, Finn wasn't really sure what to do with it--she soon figured it out, though.  She even screamed when I took it away! 

Then, it was time for presents.  WOW!  Finnley was spoiled.

Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us!!  It was a very special day for our famliy.

I cannot believe that our little girl is already a year old.  I just know I will turn around and we will be celebrating her 16th birthday.  It makes me sad that she is growing up so fast.
